Biography

Sheryl Cardenas came to PNNL in December 2008 and joined Technology Planning & Deployment group in July 2009. Prior to joining TP&D she worked in the Travel Accounting Department as an Office Service Support Administrative Assistant. Sheryl has over 5 years Office Administration experience. Sheryl's primary duties include providing project administrative expertise and organizational support to DOE's Next Generation Luminaire program as well as CALiPER program. Work in a fast paced, multi-project environment performing a wide range of administrative duties that can range from packing & shipping to purchasing equipment and services, to setting up meetings, assistance in event planning to tracking technical materials and brochures. As well as proof reading transcripts from conferences and judging material to be published. Have also taken on additional work doing web base coding on the DOEs live building codes website. And taken on the Lead Administrator roll for the DOE’s windows program providing support with bid submissions, monthly sales reports, and submitting bids from buyers as well as quotes from vendors. Provide long and short term backup admin support for multiple admins in my directorate including taking over the Lead Administrator position for the Energy Planning and Policy Analysis group located in DC. P-Card, B2B, ERICA and EXPENSE for travel expense reporting.
